I actually don't really expect too many people here to know me, but I guess that's what this community's for right? I don't even remember if I posted here the first time around, come to think. I was here for about four years then died off for a bit, but I decided to come back. Anyhow. I'm John Norum, and I play guitar for the band Europe, which I co-founded with ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) joey_tempest about 3 decades ago. I left the band for a while, and they eventually broke up. When they decided to get back together I came back to reform the lineup that is best known for the album and song The Final Countdown. We've put out three albums since reforming and if I do say so myself, we're way better than we were back then. In between leaving the band and coming back I had my own solo career and have worked with many of the best musicians in classic rock. I wasn't especially social around here last time but I am giving it another shot now. I do have AIM, but it's better if you PMed me if you're really that interested in knowing it cause my list is private. I'll add anyone though, so feel free. |

I guest-starred on ABC's horror/sitcom, "Eastwick". Last year, I was in the music video for "Thinking of You", by Katy Perry. This year, I've done several shoots with art photographer Tyler Shields for his video series, "The Dirty Side of Glamor".
