ManUtd.com is delighted to break the news that Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Cameroon midfielder Eric Djemba-Djemba.

Djemba-Djemba, 22, has been transferred from French club Nantes for a fee of approximately £3.5million, including associated costs. An additional £0.7m will be paid depending upon appearances. Speculation that the Cameroon star would come to Old Trafford has been rife for some time but this is the first official word that he has definitely signed for Manchester United.

I met Eric yesterday up at Old Tafford. He seems like a nice lad. He's asked a couple of the mates to show him around Manchester. I might tag along, or take that campin' trip by meself. Not sure what me plans are.

Been a rough night for some of me new mates. I fine meself worried about a couple more then you'd think I would. I want ta take all the hurtin' away. It felt good ta be able to comfort a person. Felt good to have a lad smile sweetly at me. Ta put an arm around me, make me feel wanted

Felt too good me thinks... I have ta wonder if I was gettin' just as much comfort form holdin' him, as I was given out? Though, I need ta be careful. No use in makin' the same mistake over and over. No use in any of it I guess. I don't think I'm usin' me head this week. Somethin' is wrong with me.

I find writin' in this thin' hard.... I need ta stop writin' in me slang maybe. I know that now why I find this hard. I just don't know what to write and still have me privacy? The idea of others readin' me thoughts, it bloody scary now that I'm faced with it! I can't open up here... Oh hell, why did I make this bloody thin'?!

Here we are. I'm making me second entry into this thin'. S'pose I only need write when there's somethin' to write about, aye? Low and behold I do have a bit of news. Don't all faint from shock, I do have meself a life!

With The game roster being what it is, and only me training to keep me here in Manchester, I've taken a little trip. Ha, London's not far, but it's a nice change to the same old, same old.

Dominic and Sean have put me up in this posher then posh hotel with them. Me thinks this will be Nicky's week for pampering! I've got meself booked for a spa tomorrow. Not done the full deal before. This will be a treat. I'm thinkin' of askin' me new friend, Ioan if he'd like to join me.

Dom and Sean's son has been a shocker! I think I'm in-love! He's got these wee little fingers and toes and don't you know, eyes that could make a lass cry! Oh this one will break many hearts when he gets older!
